Role Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, practical lessons

  • A commitment to raising student achievement and promoting creative learning

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Right to work in the UK is essential for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages

  • Inspire and motivate students through creative, hands-on learning

  • Track and assess student progress, providing effective feedback

  • Support curriculum development within the Design Technology department

  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and extra-curricular activities

  • Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
