Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Sociology lessons to secondary school students.

Plan, prepare, and assess student work in accordance with the curriculum.

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Support the development of students’ critical thinking and analytical skills.

Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the delivery of Sociology across the school.

Contribute to the wider school community and take part in extra-curricular activities as required.
Requirements:

A degree in Sociology or a related field.

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.

A passion for Sociology and teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience teaching Sociology at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
