SEND Tutors Required (Alternative Provision – Wokingham Area)
Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver one-to-one SEND tuition to pupils in and around Wokingham who are currently outside of mainstream education or require additional specialist support.
This role involves working closely with pupils who may have a range of identified or emerging needs and benefit from structured, personalised intervention.
This opportunity is well suited to educators looking for flexible, part-time work outside of the traditional classroom environment, while continuing to make a meaningful impact through tailored, relationship-led support.

Role Overview

Deliver 1-to-1 SEND tuition across Wokingham

Work with primary and/or secondary-aged pupils

Sessions may take place on school sites or in agreed off-site settings

Flexible hours based on pupil need and placement availability

Pupil Needs
Pupils may present with a range of needs, including:

Autism (ASC)

SEMH

ADHD

Anxiety and school refusal

Learning difficulties or EHCP-identified needs
A calm, consistent and adaptable teaching approach is essential.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or substantial SEND tutoring experience

Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning strategies

Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred)

Ability to travel locally within Wokingham

Experience working with pupils with EHCPs highly desirable
