Secondary Tutor – Leominster, Herefordshire

Quantum Scholars is looking for a supportive and reliable Secondary Tutor to work with young people in Leominster, Herefordshire. This is an in-person role and is not online work. The successful tutor will provide tailored academic support to secondary-aged pupils, helping them build confidence, improve engagement and make progress in their learning.

The role may involve

• Delivering one-to-one or small-group tuition to secondary-aged pupils

• Working with young people with SEND

• Planning and adapting sessions to meet individual learning needs

• Supporting pupils with core subjects, including English, maths or science

• Helping learners rebuild confidence and develop positive study habits

• Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback

• Working closely with families, schools and other professionals where appropriate

• Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures

Essential requirements

• Experience teaching, tutoring or supporting secondary-aged pupils

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to plan engaging, personalised learning sessions

• A patient, flexible and supportive approach

• A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable professional references

• You must have the right to work in the UK.
