Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3-KS4; KS5 desirable)

Strong subject knowledge in physical, human, and environmental geography

Confident classroom management and communication skills

A passion for engaging students and developing global awareness

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work in the UK
Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and geographical enquiry

Assess and monitor student progress

Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners

Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Work collaboratively with school staff
