Science Teacher – North Hampshire

Quantum Scholars are working alongside a secondary school in North Hampshire who are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school with a strong sense of community and a clear commitment to developing both its teaching staff and overall provision. The Science department is a key part of the school’s continued growth, offering a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has strong UK teaching experience across KS3 and KS4
• Is passionate about teaching Science
• Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in a Science-related subject
• Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
• Must have a full right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Support students of all abilities to reach their full potential
• Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in school initiatives
