Quantum Scholars are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Hertfordshire who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis after February half-term.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies

Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities

Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the Science department
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Ability to teach Science confidently at secondary level

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
