Quantum Scholars are working closely with a high-achieving and “Outstanding” rated secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a passionate Science Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2026.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong passion for Science and teaching
- Demonstrates a genuine regard and respect for young people
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
- Brings enthusiasm and energy to the classroom
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in a Science-related subject
- Strong subject knowledge across Science (specialism welcome)
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- MUST have the right to work in the UK – sponsorship is NOT available
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement
