Quantum Scholars are currently working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school in Berkshire, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full-time position, initially for two terms, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking Science department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and promote academic success across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners of all abilities

Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Has experience teaching Science at secondary level

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education

Is committed, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
