Quantum Scholars are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Berkshire to recruit a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department and teach motivated students across KS3 and KS4.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons, with a particular focus on Chemistry, and will take responsibility for classes including GCSE groups mid-year. Both experienced teachers and confident ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities

Teach Chemistry and general Science across KS3 and KS4

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with curriculum requirements

Take responsibility for GCSE classes and support students through critical stages of their course

Contribute to the wider Science department and school community

Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive learning environment
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Specialism in Chemistry

Confident teaching KS3 and KS4, including mid-year GCSE groups

ECTs welcome, provided you can independently manage classes

Right to Work in the UK (the school is unable to provide sponsorship)
