Quantum Scholars is recruiting on behalf of a secondary school based in Slough, Berkshire for a Science Teacher to cover a long-term absence. This is a full-time teaching role starting immediately and continuing through to the end of the academic year.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and assessing student work, and contributing to the wider school community.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons.

Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Plan, prepare, and assess students’ work in line with the curriculum.

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

Support the academic and personal development of all students.

Attend staff meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Science at secondary level.

A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Right to work in the UK.

Available to start immediately and commit through the end of the academic year.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
