Quantum Scholars are currently working with an excellent secondary school and sixth form in Oxfordshire, renowned for its strong academic standards and supportive learning environment. The school is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Science Teacher, specialising in Physics, to join their vibrant Science department from January 2026 on a permanent basis.

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who thrives on bringing Physics to life in the classroom. You’ll be teaching GCSE and A-Level Physics, with some applied Science components. The school places a strong emphasis on fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning among its students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Physics lessons across KS4 and KS5.

  • Prepare students for examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes.

  • Contribute to curriculum development within the Science department.

  • Inspire enthusiasm for Physics and Science through practical and theoretical learning.

  • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Must be currently teaching Physics up to A-Level.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science education.

  • Must have experience teaching Science to secondary school level.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.

  • Must be available to start in January 2026
