One-to-One Tutors Required

We are seeking dedicated one-to-one tutors, ideally qualified teachers, to provide off-site educational support to a number of students in and around Wokingham.

This role is well suited to teachers looking to step away from a full classroom setting and move into flexible, part-time tuition, while still making a meaningful impact.

About the Role

  • One-to-one tuition for students aged 5-13

  • Off-site education in the local Wokingham area

  • Start date: February, with work running until at least September and likely beyond

  • Hours may vary day to day, depending on student needs

  • Tutors will report to our recently appointed SENDCo

Subjects & Specialisms

We are particularly interested in tutors with experience or specialisms in:

  • Maths

  • English

  • Primary

  • SEN

  • Non-core subjects

Students will have a range of educational needs, including some from an SEMH background, so adaptability, patience, and strong relationship-building skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Ideally a trained/qualified teacher

  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

  • Enhanced DBS, preferably on the Update Service

  • A car and ability to travel locally is highly desirable

  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students is an advantage

Pay

  • Competitive pay, aligned with classroom teacher rates, dependent on experience

Why Apply?

  • Flexible, varied work

  • Opportunity to focus on individual students

  • Supportive leadership and SEND-focused provision

  • Ideal for educators seeking a more personalised, less classroom-based role

If you are passionate about supporting young learners and want to make a difference through tailored, one-to-one education, we would love to hear from you.
