Primary PRU Teacher – Wokingham, Berkshire
Start Date: From 8 December 2025 | On-Site | Until Easter 2026 (Possible Extension to July)

We are seeking a committed and compassionate teacher to join a modern, well-resourced Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wokingham. This centre offers a calm, nurturing environment designed to support primary-aged learners who require tailored, relationship-focused teaching.

The Role

  • Provide one-to-one teaching, with occasional groups of two

  • Support primary-aged pupils with a variety of learning and behavioural needs

  • Deliver engaging, accessible lessons that help build confidence and progress

  • Work as part of a supportive, skilled team in a highly positive setting

  • All teaching is on-site within a modern and calming PRU environment

This is a contemporary, purpose-built setting known for its calm atmosphere, strong pastoral support, and commitment to helping pupils re-engage with learning.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or strong relevant teaching experience considered)

  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

  • Confident working one-to-one with pupils who may need additional emotional or behavioural support

  • Available from 8 December 2025 or shortly after

  • Able to commit until Easter 2026, with potential extension to the end of the academic year
