Are you an enthusiastic and creative Music Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an experienced and inspiring educator to join a secondary school based in Berkshire on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January 2026.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Music lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop their performance, composition, and appreciation skills. You will play a key role in promoting musical opportunities both within and beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Foster a passion for music through a variety of teaching strategies and practical experiences.

  • Lead or support extracurricular music activities, such as school concerts, choir, or band.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and setting targets.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching Music at secondary school level.

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

  • Right to Work in the UK is essential.

  • Must be available to start in January 2026.
