About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Music lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop their performance, composition, and appreciation skills. You will play a key role in promoting musical opportunities both within and beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Foster a passion for music through a variety of teaching strategies and practical experiences.

Lead or support extracurricular music activities, such as school concerts, choir, or band.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and setting targets.

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:

Experience teaching Music at secondary school level.

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

A passion for music education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

Right to Work in the UK is essential.

Must be available to start in January 2026.
