MFL Teacher (German Specialist) – Immediate Start – Berkshire

Quantum Scholars are currently working with a well-established and welcoming secondary school in Berkshire that is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher, with a specialism in German, to start as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking MFL department in a school that values high academic standards and offers a supportive environment for both staff and students. The successful candidate will primarily be teaching German, with some additional lessons in French or Spanish, depending on department needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in German across Key Stages 3 and 4

Contribute to French or Spanish teaching where required

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates and inspires students

Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring all learners reach their full potential

Participate in department planning, meetings, and school-wide initiatives

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Support students’ cultural understanding and appreciation of language learning
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Specialism in German is essential; ability to teach some French or Spanish is desirable

Proven experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting (including ECTs)

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
