A secondary school in Bedford is looking to appoint a talented and innovative Media Studies Teacher on a temp-to-perm basis, with an immediate start. The position will become permanent from July.

The Role

  • Teaching Media Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 (A-Level)

  • Planning and delivering engaging, analytical, and creative lessons

  • Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

  • Supporting coursework completion and driving exam success

  • Monitoring progress and maintaining high academic standards

  • Contributing to the continued development of the Media department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have proven UK secondary teaching experience

  • Demonstrate experience teaching Media Studies at KS4 and KS5 (A-Level)

  • Possess strong subject knowledge and a current understanding of exam specifications

  • Exhibit confident classroom management and high expectations for students

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK

  • UK teaching experience

  • Experience teaching Media Studies up to A-Level
