Temp to Permanent | ASAP Start | Permanent from July

A secondary school in Bedford is seeking a talented and forward-thinking Media Studies Teacher to join their team on a temp-to-permanent basis, starting as soon as possible. The role will transition to a permanent position from July.

The Role:

  • Teaching Media Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5 (A-Level)

  • Planning and delivering engaging, analytical and creative lessons

  • Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level assessments

  • Supporting coursework completion and exam success

  • Tracking progress and maintaining high academic expectations

  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the Media department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have proven UK teaching experience within secondary education

  • Have experience teaching Media Studies at both KS4 and KS5 (A-Level)

  • Possess strong subject knowledge and an up-to-date understanding of exam specifications

  • Demonstrate confident classroom management and high expectations

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK

  • UK teaching experience

  • Experience teaching Media Studies up to A-Level
