Maths Tutor Opportunity – Reading (In-Person, SEND)
Quantum Scholars are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wokingham and are currently seeking experienced SEND tutors who specialise in Maths, to support students accessing alternative provision (AP) or Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS).
We are currently looking for a Maths tutor to deliver 1:1, in-person tuition for a Year 10 pupil. Sessions will take place at a local college in Reading, with 1 hour per week available on a day that suits your schedule, offering excellent flexibility.
Role Overview:
- Deliver 1:1 Maths tuition to a Year 10 pupil
- In-person sessions at a college in Reading
- 1 hour per week
- Flexible scheduling to fit your availability
- Support a student outside of mainstream education
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
- Experience supporting students with additional needs (e.g. autism, SEMH)
- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience delivering Maths tuition
