Off-Site One-to-One Maths Tutor
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-time or Full-time (until the end of the academic year)
Location: Various off-site settings – access to a car is desirable
Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (for qualified teachers)

Are you passionate about helping young people succeed through personalised, flexible learning?
We’re looking for caring and committed tutors to deliver one-to-one Maths tuition to students aged 5-16, some of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or other learning difficulties.
This is a highly rewarding role, providing support to students outside of traditional school settings. You’ll play a key part in helping them re-engage with education, build confidence, and reach their learning goals.
About the Role:

Deliver individualised Maths sessions (other subjects also considered)

Support learners with a wide range of abilities and needs

Plan engaging lessons tailored to each student’s learning plan

Keep accurate records of attendance and student progress

Work closely with schools, families, and other professionals to support consistent and effective learning
About You:

Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), but strong applicants with tutoring or mentoring experience are also welcome

Experience working with SEND is highly valued

Flexible, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with learners

Access to a car is advantageous unless you’re based locally
