Quantum Scholars is currently working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school in Surrey, who are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full-time position, initially for two terms, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and promote academic success across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback

Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners of all abilities

Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management
The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education

Is committed, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
