Quantum Scholars are proud to be working with a highly ambitious and committed secondary school in Buckinghamshire who are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time maternity cover position for one academic year.
The ideal candidate would be a more experienced teacher and someone who is ambitious for advancement within Maths and has the ability to support students in developing their numeracy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

Plan and assess learning in line with national curriculum standards

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback

Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters student achievement

Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and CPD opportunities
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification

Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school setting

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths

Excellent classroom management skills

Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
