Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working closely with a well-established secondary school in Surrey, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher (mainly Geography) to join their dynamic team from January 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is eager to inspire students and contribute to a thriving Humanities department. The successful candidate will primarily teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute to other areas within Humanities if desired.

The school is open to offering visa sponsorship for an exceptional candidate.

This is a well-regarded secondary school and sixth form in Surrey, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. Catering for students aged 11-18, the school is part of a respected multi-academy trust and has a strong reputation for academic achievement and student support. The school is easily accessible via car and public transport.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-planned Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Foster a love of learning and curiosity about the world among students.

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure strong outcomes.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within the Humanities faculty.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards and a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international teaching qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.

  • Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • A commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.

  • Must be available to start in January 2026
