Quantum Scholars is delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and inclusive secondary school in Berkshire, currently seeking a talented Humanities Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Humanities Teacher to make a meaningful impact. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience)

  • Teach across Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, or RE (flexibility depending on your specialism)

  • Foster students’ curiosity, debate skills, and understanding of historical, cultural, and global contexts

  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where every student is encouraged to participate

  • Contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as school trips, clubs, or themed enrichment days

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and share best practices

  • Monitor progress and provide effective, targeted feedback to help students achieve their potential

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from teachers who are enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to delivering high-quality education. You should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related Humanities subject

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the Humanities

  • The ability to inspire, challenge, and support learners of all abilities

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to professional development

  • A genuine interest in contributing to whole-school life
