GCSE Geography Tutor (1:1 EOTAS Provision) – Wokingham

Quantum Scholars is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable GCSE Geography Tutor to provide 1:1, in-person, tuition for a Year 11 pupil receiving EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than at School) provision in Wokingham.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to a young person’s educational journey by helping them build confidence in Geography and prepare successfully for their GCSE examinations next year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about their subject and can deliver engaging, personalised sessions tailored to the pupil’s individual learning needs.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 GCSE Geography tuition to a Year 11 pupil.
- Support the pupil in developing their subject knowledge and exam techniques in preparation for their GCSEs.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the pupil’s individual learning style and needs.
- Build a positive and supportive relationship that encourages progress and confidence.
- Tuition will take place in the pupil’s home during school hours (term-time only).
- 1.5 hours of tuition per week, with complete flexibility around the day and time.
- Long-term opportunity lasting for the full academic year.
Requirements
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Geography.
- A strong understanding of the GCSE Geography curriculum.
- Experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach to learning.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND/SEMH
- MUST have a full Right to Work in the UK.
