The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-planned Geography lessons across the secondary age range, inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of both physical and human geography.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively

Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

Support students’ academic progress and personal development
The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Has experience teaching Geography at secondary level

Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography

Is committed to raising standards and improving student outcomes

Works collaboratively within a team and across the wider school community
