Quantum Scholars are currently working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Southampton that is seeking a qualified Food Technology Teacher to join their department from Easter 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and make a real impact within a supportive and dynamic team.
This is a full-time, permanent position, and overseas applicants are welcome but you must have the Right to Work in the UK to be eligible.
Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, practical lessons

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

Commitment to supporting student progress and achieving high standards

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to departmental initiatives
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver inspiring and well-planned Food Technology lessons to a range of year groups

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing feedback to support learning

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development

Support extracurricular activities and school events where relevant
