Teach, Travel & Explore: One-Month ESL Internship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – LAST CHANCE TO JOIN!

Starts 18 January 2026 | Flights & Accommodation Included | No Experience Needed

Escape the winter and spend a month living and working in Kuala Lumpur, one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic and culturally rich cities. This fully supported one-month ESL teaching internship offers a rare opportunity to combine international travel, hands-on classroom experience, and meaningful cultural exchange.

We are recruiting 30 English-speaking interns to join a well-established Winter ESL Camp working with large groups of primary and secondary students in a supportive and well-organised setting.

Why This Experience?

This programme is designed as a travel and work experience, not just a teaching placement.

  • Live in a major Asian capital known for its culture, food, and modern lifestyle

  • Gain international experience working with children from diverse backgrounds

  • Travel independently while being part of a small cohort of like-minded interns

  • Experience daily life abroad with all major logistics arranged

It is ideal for anyone looking to explore teaching, international work, or long-term travel, or simply to start the year with a memorable overseas experience.

What’s Included (Fully Covered)

  • Return flights to Kuala Lumpur

  • Modern shared accommodation

  • Airport transfer on arrival

  • Local SIM card

  • Organised weekend trip during the placement

  • Ongoing on-site support from local staff

All major expenses are covered, allowing participants to focus on the experience rather than costs.

The Role

  • Teach small groups of approximately six students

  • Deliver fun, interactive ESL activities using provided materials

  • Work alongside experienced and supportive local staff

  • Focus on communication, confidence, and engagement rather than formal assessment

No teaching qualifications are required. Enthusiasm, reliability, and clear English communication are essential.

Who It Suits

  • Undergraduates and recent graduates

  • Teaching assistants or gap-year travellers

  • Career changers exploring education or international work

  • Anyone seeking short-term overseas experience working with children

A degree is not required.

Essential Requirements

  • Native English speaker

  • Valid passport

  • Available for the full placement from 18 January 2026

  • Comfortable travelling and living independently (no spouse or children)

  • Willing to take part in a non-salaried internship with expenses covered

  • Must travel alone; friends or colleagues may apply separately once referred
