Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback

Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department

Participate in whole-school initiatives and continuous professional development

Uphold and promote the school’s values of inclusion, aspiration, and respect
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)

A genuine passion for English language and literature, with the ability to motivate students

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Availability to start on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026
