The school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their English department from September 2025. About the Role:

Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and department needs.

Deliver dynamic, engaging, and challenging lessons that inspire students and support high levels of attainment.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school and national expectations.

Participate in departmental planning, moderation, and development sessions.

Contribute to the wider school community, including after-school clubs, enrichment programmes, and whole-school events.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent internationally recognised teaching qualification.

A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related subject.

Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting, including curriculum planning and assessment.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to continued professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
