We are working with a welcoming secondary school based in Hertfordshire who are seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join their team from after the February half-term, continuing through to July 2026. There is potential for an extension for the right candidate.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
Responsibilities

Planning and delivering high-quality Design Technology lessons

Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress
