Quantum Scholars are working with a number of mainstream secondary schools across Surrey that are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to join their teams from September 2025.
Whether you’re an experienced Cover Supervisor, a recent graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with relevant experience working with young people – we want to hear from you!
About the Role:

Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task
-
Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment

Providing support where necessary and reporting back to teaching staff
What We’re Looking For:

Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills

Ability to manage behaviour and engage students effectively
-
Adaptability and confidence in delivering lessons across various subjects

Previous experience in a school or youth-based setting is desirable but not essential
Requirements:

You must have the right to work in the UK

You must already be residing in the UK
