Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a well-established alternative provision in Berkshire that is seeking a dedicated and fully qualified Primary Teacher to support small groups of 1-2 pupils. This rewarding role focuses on delivering high-quality tutoring, alongside providing nurturing pastoral support to learners with SEMH needs or additional learning requirements.
This position is due to begin in January 2026, initially for one term, with the strong possibility of extension for the right candidate. It offers an excellent opportunity for a compassionate educator who is passionate about making a genuine difference to children who thrive best outside the mainstream classroom environment.
Role Highlights:
-
3 days per week – flexible hours to be agreed
-
Work with primary-aged pupils in a calm, personalised learning environment
-
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored sessions to meet a range of learning and emotional needs
-
Build positive, trusting relationships that help pupils re-engage with their education
-
Collaborate closely with the provision’s leadership team to support each learner’s progress
Teaching sessions will be delivered either in a community-based setting or within the students’ homes. For this reason, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
You must also have the Right to Work in the UK as sponsorship is not available.
If you are a caring, resilient and creative Primary Teacher looking for a meaningful new challenge, we would love to hear from you. Interviews are taking place next week, so please submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
