Cover Supervisor – Reading
We are looking for an dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide general cover at a secondary school we work closey with just outside of Reading. This a long-term position starting in Easter half term, until the end of the academic.
About the Role:
- Providing general cover across a variety of subjects.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining school policies.
- Supporting students’ learning and progress during staff absences.
- Building strong relationships with staff and students.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different environments.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive approach to teaching.
- A passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
