Adapting teaching methods, resources and session structure to suit individual abilities, interests and learning styles.
-
Helping young people overcome barriers to education, including anxiety, low confidence, school avoidance and disengagement.

Building trusting professional relationships while maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.
-
Encouraging engagement, independence, resilience and positive learning habits.
-
Creating a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
-
Monitoring progress and providing feedback to parents, carers and other professionals where appropriate.
-
Working collaboratively with relevant professionals to support the young person’s educational development.
-
Maintaining accurate records where required and following safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.
