Quantum Scholars is recruiting tutors, teachers, SEND mentors and education professionals for specialist tuition roles across Hillingdon and the wider North West London area.
Provision is primarily delivered face to face in pupils’ homes, community venues and other agreed locations across the Hillingdon area.
Tutoring roles are only available to applicants who are already based in the UK, have the right to work in the UK and can deliver tutoring in the required local area. We cannot offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for tutoring roles.

Supporting Children and Young People Through Specialist SEND Tuition
Quantum Scholars delivers SEND tuition and alternative provision support across the London Borough of Hillingdon, helping primary and secondary aged pupils who need a personalised approach to education.
Working directly with Hillingdon Council, we provide one to one support for children and young people with SEND, SEMH needs, autism, anxiety related school avoidance and Education Otherwise Than At School arrangements.
Our tutors play an important role in helping pupils rebuild confidence, engage with learning and achieve positive educational outcomes.
SEND Tutor and Mentor Opportunities in Hillingdon
Due to ongoing demand, we regularly recruit tutors, teachers, SEND mentors and education professionals to support pupils across Hillingdon and North West London.
Placements are mainly delivered face to face and may take place in pupils’ homes, community venues or other agreed locations, depending on individual needs and circumstances.
Many assignments involve multiple sessions each week, with some learners requiring longer term support programmes.
We recognise the value of experienced education professionals and offer competitive rates of pay based on qualifications, experience and the specific requirements of each placement.
Who We Support
Our tutors may work with pupils who:
• Have autism spectrum conditions
• Experience emotionally based school avoidance
• Have SEMH needs
• Require alternative provision
• Access EOTAS provision through an EHCP
• Need support with reintegration into education
• Require one to one support outside of a mainstream classroom
The focus is on building trust, supporting engagement and helping each learner make progress in a way that suits their needs.
A Diverse Team Supporting Young People
Alongside experienced teachers and tutors, we work with SEND mentors and individuals from educational psychology and related academic backgrounds, including graduates and undergraduates from leading universities.
This enables us to provide flexible, relationship led support that meets the educational, social and emotional needs of each learner.
