French and German Teacher (Part-Time) – Oxfordshire – ASAP Start

Quantum Scholars are working alongside a well-established and high-performing secondary school in Oxfordshire to recruit an experienced French and German Teacher. The successful candidate will join the school as soon as possible and continue through to the end of the academic year.

This is a part-time position offered on a long-term temporary basis. The role presents an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative Modern Foreign Languages department within a school that values high standards of teaching and learning. Ideally the school is looking for someone who is available from Monday – Wednesday.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in French and German across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Prepare and assess students’ work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback to help raise attainment
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities where appropriate

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching both French and German at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
  • Available to start on a part-time basis ideally from Monday – Wednesday
