Long-Term Role | ASAP Start | Up to 1 Year

A secondary school in Bedford is seeking an inspiring and creative Drama Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible and running for up to one year.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a supportive, hands-on Senior Leadership Team and a collaborative staff environment where the arts are valued as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.

The Role:

  • Teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons

  • Encouraging creativity, confidence and performance skills

  • Preparing students for assessments and performances

  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and participation

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Have proven UK teaching experience, ideally within secondary education

  • Have experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4

  • Be confident leading practical lessons and productions

  • Bring energy, creativity and strong classroom management skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK

  • UK teaching experience
