Quantum Scholars are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Hertfordshire who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis after February half-term.

This is a well-established secondary school with a strong focus on academic achievement, inclusive values, and high expectations for both staff and students. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school policies

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities

  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the Science department

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Ability to teach Science confidently at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
