Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a wonderful Primary School in Surrey that is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a full-time, long-term temporary position with the potential to become permanent, offering an excellent opportunity to settle into a supportive, nurturing and welcoming school community.
This vibrant Primary School caters for children aged 4-11 and proudly holds a “Good” Ofsted rating. Inspectors praised the school for its warm, caring atmosphere where pupils feel safe and valued, and highlighted the high expectations set by staff, which enable children to make strong, consistent progress from the very start of their school journey.

Requirements

Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS or equivalent)

Strong experience within Early Years or Primary settings

A positive, nurturing approach to supporting young children’s development

Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills

A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child-led learning

Available to start from January 2026

Responsibilities

Create a warm, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where young children feel safe, confident and eager to explore

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support early learning and development across the EYFS framework

Observe, assess and record children’s progress, ensuring each child is supported, challenged and celebrated

Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders to deliver high-quality provision

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community
-
Implement the school’s behaviour management and safeguarding policies consistently

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, enrichment opportunities and outdoor learning

Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal development
