One-Month ESL Teaching Internship – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Trade the grey British winter for a month in warm, vibrant Kuala Lumpur while gaining valuable international experience. We’re seeking 30 English-speaking interns to support a well-established Winter Camp welcoming large groups of primary and secondary students.

The Role

You’ll teach small groups of around six students, lead fun and engaging ESL activities (all materials provided), and work alongside supportive local staff. No formal teaching qualifications are required-just enthusiasm, clear communication, and a willingness to get involved.

Perfect for undergraduates, recent graduates, teaching assistants, or anyone looking to develop new skills, work with children, and immerse themselves in a new environment. A degree is not required.

Essential Requirements

  • Native English speaker

  • Valid passport

  • Able to travel independently (no dependants)

  • Available for the full placement from 18 January 2026

  • Willing to take part in a non-salaried internship with expenses covered

  • Must travel alone, though friends or colleagues may apply once referred
