Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback

Contribute to curriculum development within the department

Take part in whole-school initiatives and CPD activities

Support the school’s ethos of inclusion, aspiration, and respect
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)

A passion for English literature and language, with the ability to inspire students

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Availability to start from January 2026 on a part-time, permanent basis
