Psychology Teacher – Essex | January 2026 Start | Permanent, Full-Time

Quantum Scholars are delighted to be working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Essex seeking an enthusiastic and committed Psychology Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate teacher to contribute to a supportive and well-resourced department. You’ll be teaching Psychology across Key Stages 4-5, with opportunities to develop your skills and grow as part of an experienced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons across KS4-5

  • Inspire students to develop critical thinking and a passion for understanding human behaviour

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental initiatives

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support departmental goals

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Psychology

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting students to reach their potential
