Quantum Scholars are currently working with a vibrant secondary school and sixth form in Hertfordshire who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their Drama and Music department from January 2026 for two terms.

You will be responsible for teaching Drama across GCSE and A-Level, so previous experience delivering these courses is essential.

The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is an oversubscribed upper school with around 1,050 students in Years 9-13, including approximately 280 students in the Sixth Form. It offers a supportive environment for both staff and students.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: January 2026

  • Duration: Two terms

  • Contract: Full-time (Part-time may be considered for the right candidate)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5

  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

  • Contribute to extracurricular Drama activities and school productions

  • Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification

  • Proven experience teaching Drama at GCSE and A-Level

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for inspiring creativity and confidence in students

  • You must have the Right to Work in the UK!
