Off-Site One-to-One English Tutor
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-time or Full-time (until the end of the academic year)
Location: Various off-site settings – access to a car is desirable
Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (for qualified teachers)

Are you passionate about supporting young people through personalised, flexible learning?
We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate tutors to deliver one-to-one English tuition to students aged 5-16, some of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or other learning difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with learners outside of a traditional classroom setting, helping them to rebuild confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their academic goals.
About the Role:

Deliver tailored one-to-one English sessions

Support students across a range of abilities and learning needs

Plan creative, engaging lessons based on individual learning plans

Keep accurate records of attendance and student progress

Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to ensure continuity and support
About You:

Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), though we also welcome applicants with strong tutoring or mentoring experience

Experience supporting students with SEND is highly valued

Patient, adaptable, and empathetic, with the ability to build trust and rapport with learners

Access to a car is desirable unless you’re based locally
