Are you passionate about helping young people succeed through personalised, flexible learning?

We’re looking for caring and committed tutors to deliver one-to-one Maths tuition to students aged 5-16, some of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or other learning difficulties.

This is a highly rewarding role, providing support to students outside of traditional school settings. You’ll play a key part in helping them re-engage with education, build confidence, and reach their learning goals.

About the Role:

  • Deliver individualised Maths sessions (other subjects also considered)

  • Support learners with a wide range of abilities and needs

  • Plan engaging lessons tailored to each student’s learning plan

  • Keep accurate records of attendance and student progress

  • Work closely with schools, families, and other professionals to support consistent and effective learning

About You:

  • Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), but strong applicants with tutoring or mentoring experience are also welcome

  • Experience working with SEND is highly valued

  • Flexible, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with learners

  • Access to a car is advantageous unless you’re based locally

  • You must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Role Details:

  • Start: January 2026

  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year (with potential for extension)

  • Hours: Flexible – both part-time and full-time roles available

  • Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (dependent on qualifications and experience)

If you’re passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in young people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
