English Teacher – January 2026 Start – Surrey

Quantum Scholars are proud to be working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school located in Surrey, which is currently seeking a qualified English Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Monitor, assess, and support students’ progress

  • Contribute to the development of the English curriculum

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and wider school activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for English and inspiring young learners

  • Availability to start from January 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis
