Are you a motivated Religious Education Teacher with a passion for guiding students through big ideas, beliefs, and worldviews? We are seeking an experienced and engaging teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Surrey on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026.
About the Role:
As a RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering well-structured and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 encouraging students to explore a range of religious, spiritual, and philosophical perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

Create a safe and inclusive classroom where students feel respected and heard.

Encourage respectful debate, critical thinking, and reflective learning.

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.

Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and participate in departmental planning.

Support whole-school events and initiatives that promote cultural awareness and personal development.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary school level.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

A genuine passion for RE and the ability to make the subject relevant and engaging.

Right to Work in the UK is essential.

Must be available to start in January 2026.
