Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Maths and Economics across KS3, KS4, and KS5 (where applicable)

Develop students’ mathematical fluency and problem-solving skills alongside their understanding of economic principles, markets, and financial literacy

Create an inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential

Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and targeted support

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum in both subject areas

Participate in departmental meetings, extracurricular activities, and wider school events

Promote high standards of behaviour and academic excellence
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a related field

Strong subject knowledge and passion for both Maths and Economics

Proven ability to teach across multiple key stages

Excellent classroom management and communication skills
