Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 (with the potential for KS5)

• Develop and enhance the computing curriculum to keep it aligned with current trends and technologies

• Inspire students to explore programming, data, algorithms, cybersecurity, and computational logic

• Assess student progress and provide effective feedback in line with school policy

• Contribute to extra-curricular opportunities such as coding clubs or STEM activities

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field

• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, HTML/CSS)

• A commitment to inclusive, engaging, and student-centred teaching

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Desire to innovate and stay updated with advancements in technology and education

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
